Here’s one thing we do to win in 2020:
Have an e-mail account for the campaign manager; fill it with what we want; and the leak it to WikiLeaks (they don’t know who the leaker is).
Use it for routine campaign business, so it’s credible. Pad it with a few minor incriminations — what the intelligence community reportedly calls a “limited hangout”— to add credibility.
But then include the sort of content we’d like leaked.
“The trump campaign contacted us again trying to buy our agreement to secretly agree to their plan to privatize social security ni exchange for passing our infrastructure bill. We told them no again."
“Please send our candidate’s check to the puppy care facility, but keep it anonymous — we don’t want the press painting it as trying to look good.”
“POTUS asked if we can help him get another three day meeting in private with Obama to help him with how to respond to Syria and Libya. He never seems to say no when it’s for the country.”
“Checked with the candidate again on whether we should use the Burnett material about trump talking about sex fantasies with farm animals. Got a no, it’d harm the presidency if it gets out.”
Just a tongue in cheek post. I don’t actually support doing things to mislead.
